About Eric Emerman
Owners Eric Emerman & Andy Larned, along with their wives and families, are thrilled to bring the SuperTots brand to the Columbus market. As current owners of two D-BAT Columbus Baseball & Softball Academy locations, they are excited to now introduce the top child development program in North America to Central Ohio.
As they looked to expand their offerings at D-BAT Columbus, their passion for developing young athletes in all areas of life drove them to pursue toddler/preschool age programming, and thus the SuperTots partnership was formed. This program, which strives to establish a healthy lifestyle and excitement about sports in every child, aligns with their vision for the D-BAT brand. As athletes, parents, and community members, they were driven to create a family-friendly atmosphere where athletes of all ages and abilities could come to become a better player, better teammate, and to just have fun.
After a 20+ year career in corporate retail, Eric followed his true passion and love of sports by opening sports training facilities around Columbus. In his free time, Eric enjoys spending time with his family, playing catch with his dog, watching his son and daughter compete in sports, playing baseball, basketball & soccer, and cheering for his Cleveland hometown teams: the Browns, Indians and Cavs.
Andy also grew up on the east side of Cleveland and a fan of the area’s professional sports teams. After
spending 8 years in professional baseball, Andy has developed a love for family, coaching and
collaborating to develop new businesses and non-profits.
